>Pete Hegseth faces questions over unpaid transgender troops

https://www.advocate.com/politics/national/unpaid-transgender-troops-answers

>Seven lawmakers are demanding answers after reports that service members pushed out under Trump’s ban have waited months for promised pay.

Seven House Democrats are demanding answers about delayed separation pay for transgender service members forced out under the Trump administration’s military ban.

The lawmakers, all members of the Congressional Equality Caucus, sent a letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth seeking an explanation after reports that some troops have waited months for the separation pay they were promised.
“Since the beginning of this Administration, you and President Trump have targeted transgender servicemembers—not only kicking them out of the military but also subjecting them to constant indignities along the way,” the lawmakers wrote in the letter led by Pennsylvania Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, the top Democrat on the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel.

The six other signers include Equality Caucus Co-Chair Sarah McBride, the first transgender member of Congress; the top Democrats on the House Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs committees, Adam Smith and Mark Takano; caucus Transgender Equality Task Force Co-Chair Sara Jacobs; and caucus Co-Chairs Eric Sorensen and Everton Blair.

The letter cited reporting by The Washington Post about troops still awaiting payment months after leaving the military. Among them was Chloe Shapiro, who slept in her Honda Accord while waiting for more than $66,000 of the separation pay she was owed. Shapiro had served for more than a decade.

The Post also reported on a former National Guardsman with 3-year-old twins who was waiting for $130,000, and an Air Force major who expected $340,000.
>>
The lawmakers asked the Defense Department to compare how long it takes troops discharged under the ban to receive full separation pay with the time it takes other departing service members. They also requested anonymized payment records and related department guidance, and asked Hegseth to respond by October 14.

“Let us be clear: we strongly oppose the underlying transgender military ban,” the letter states. “The House of Representatives recently rejected, on a bipartisan vote, an attempt to codify this ban into law, and we hope the Courts will permanently block this ban from being carried out against any transgender person who would and could be serving but for this ban. In the meantime, transgender servicemembers should receive the separation pay they are owed in a timely fashion — and we urge you to ensure this is handled expeditiously.”

Oh no. They aren't paying the troons.
So?
>>
>>1539228
So you and Trump think troons are too wonderful and precious to be endangered in combat?
>>
>>1539228
So that's illegal. Pay the people what they're owed.
>b-but they're TRANNIES!!
So?
>>
>>1539228
In a democracy, as opposed to a dictatorship, there's a thing called the "rule of law". I know it sounds alien to you, so I'll explain. It basically means laws apply to everyone, whether you like them or not.
And if you, say, demand some of your troops to resign and get a payout, and then don't do that payout because you're a fascist who hates them, you have now committed what is called "fraud" and can be prosecuted for it.
>>
>>1539231
Personally I think they should be sent to the front first, and told the war is over misgendering.
I bet the massive eunuchs would run right over the enemy.
>>1539233
Yes, and?
>>1539242
And in the US it's only valid when you say so.
>>
>>1539242
Laws are created by governments, which can change laws anytime they want. Not long ago, non-whites and women couldn't vote, the laws changed, and now they can. The last 20 years has proven that we should not have done that, but my point still stands: laws can be changed. Especially unjust DEI ones forcing our military to hire trannies
>>
>>1539248
And you don't have an argument.

>>1539257
No, they can't. There's procedure to do so. And it's a moot point anyway, because the law wasn't changed.
>Especially unjust DEI ones forcing our military to hire trannies
Fake news.
>>
>>1539242
>>1539257
Additionally, the REAL fraud is the fact that trannies used to be able to sign up for some cushy rear echelon office job in the military purely to abuse the health care benefits to pay for their trannypills and trannysurgeries. They don't deserve a fucking payout. They already scammed the fuck out of us. Its THEM who should pay backtaxes. Thank God President Trump closed that loophole. Fantastic work
>>
>>1539258
>And you don't have an argument.
My argument is literally, "Troons aren't human and shouldn't be subject to human laws, but put down due to incurable mental illness that causes irrational and violent behavior".
>>
>>1539225
>The letter cited reporting by The Washington Post about troops still awaiting payment months after leaving the military.
Oh, WaPo was the source on this. Why are we even posting trash reporting on trash about trash people?
>>
>>1539261
Your irrational and violent opinion is noted. The law disagrees.
>>
>>1539262
What's the problem with WaPo?
>>
>>1539270
It tells the truth.

It's owned by Jeff Bezos and should be cancer to any billionaire eating liggeral.
It's focus has always been on using bad data from liggeral thinktanks to bash dRumpf.
And has been known to publish false information

It's fucking illegal you retard. I thought you cunts were all about 'muh law and order'.
>>
>>1539259
>But have you considered I don't like it
Too bad. Pay people what you owe them fuckass.
>>
>>1539279

The special language makes me think you're brown.

Special, brown, with his own vocabulary. Weird shit.
>>
>>1539279
>It's focus
>It is focus
god you're ESL
>>
>>1539284
it isn't illegal. If you are separated from service for disobeying an order or breaking service regulations, then you are owed nothing. You get a DD-214 with a general or dishonorable discharge and get no veterans benefits.

You clearly never served in the US military.
>>
>>1539325
>it isn't illegal. If you are separated from service for disobeying an order or breaking service regulations, then you are owed nothing. You get a DD-214 with a general or dishonorable discharge and get no veterans benefits.
Where does it say they got those types of discharges?
>>
>>1539332
They're trannies. Tranny's are not capable of honor because honor is a masculine trait and trannies have decided to abandon their natural God given masculinity. Everything they do is dishonorable.
>>
severus was trans anyway
>>
>>1539344
>Tranny's
god you're ESL
>>
>>1539325
>it isn't illegal. If you are separated from service for disobeying an order or breaking service regulations, then you are owed nothing. You get a DD-214 with a general or dishonorable discharge and get no veterans benefits.
Except you can't just change service regulations and then retroactively say people broke them. They're owed their due even if they got fired for bullshit rules changes.
>>
>>1539362
regulations change all the time. I was in the USAF for six years and even basic things like grooming standards changed twice while I was in. Something that would be fine when I got out of Basic would be out of 35-10 when I hit my third year.

Black airmen used to grow their hair fairly long and then "pack" is when on duty. They made that against regs and those who continued to do so were punished. The Navy used to issue chits for beards, then dropped it, then allowed it again.

DADT was a big deal under Clinton. It was removed under Dubya. If you suspected someone was LGB, you simply couldn't ask, so no one would be punished. Then, you COULD ask, and someone would be punished if there was evidence against them.

My favorite line by a politician was from General Barry Goldwater, who famously said, "you don't have to be straight to be a soldier, you just have to shoot straight."

Smart man.
>>
>>1539344
women have gotten honorable discharges. so your reasoning is invalid.
>>
>>1539344
underage perma-virgin detected.
>>
If an employer fired someone without cause and stole $300k in back pay, and the government refused to hold them accountable, I wouldn't convict if the employee hunted them for sport.

We either have laws or we don't. If someone wants to place themself outside the law, that's on them.
>>
>>1539371
I'm sure you need OK judgement too.
Having a known mental illness that makes you act like a ridiculous fucking retard should disqualify you from volunteering.
>>
>>1539381
These days acting like a ridiculous fucking retard gets you promoted to Secretary of Defense.
And no, that's nonsense. Soldiers aren't supposed to judge things themselves, they're supposed to do what they're told. If good judgement was a requirement then they wouldn't be recruiting in high schools.
>>
>>1539395
OK and troons fail there too.
>>
>steamroll venezuela
>strangling iran and cuba to death
>has china so scared Xi came to the US this week to talk about how great America is

the Secretary of WAR is actually doing a great job.
>>
Uh on ESL shill is spamming RussiaPost threads again.
>>
>>1539225
>Lying fascist Hegseth lies again, this time about paying his troops
Of course Pete Kegsbreath does.
How can he ensure that he has too much blood in his alcohol stream?
>>
>>1539417
Kek he's so mad
>>
>steamrollered by Iran
>is so scared of China, Kegsbreath's Failure-in-Chief has to kowtow to Xi
the Secretary of Losing its first War is actually doing a shitty job.
>>
>>1539417
What's his endgame?
>>
>>1539399
cool story, bro
>>
>>1539512
Probably just doing it for fun. Or because he's so far gone that this is what he thinks his job is.
