A viral video captured an Arizona college cheerleader being violently slammed to the ground and pummeled on top of a bicycle by cops after she allegedly interfered with an arrest. Arizona State University senior Eryn Bonner was hit with two misdemeanor charges last week in Tempe after a harrowing video captured cops allegedly leaving her covered in bruises during an arrest in July, according to the Tempe Police Department and ABC15.

America is such an odd country. First of all, the police seem to intervene even before there was a physical altercation between the two black guys and the white guy with the pizza, but it seems clear that the altercation was provoked.
Still, the police attack both black guys, and seem to detain them, and let the white guy go scott free? Is that really the job of the police? Why not just do like a normal person and just come between the men and be like "guys, simmer down or you'll get arrested". Wouldn't that seem fairer and just generally better? Now all cops are going to be investigated for such a stupid altercation.
