From what I understand 2014 is one of the worst possible years for 4runner you could have so probably not much longer. Should've gotten a 97 I've seen people take the engine to a million.

Depends on how well you maintain it. If you're like the current normie that is moving downmarket because they're recklessly negligent of their finances (and won't maintain their car), no car will last for them.

Just change your oil and proactively monitor for maintenance and repair items, and the car will serve you well.

Enjoy your 16 mpg, apparently people are being absolutely ruined on fuel expense. They just need to stop being poor.

The 2014 still had the 4.0L engine which is arguably better than the 3.5L engine they put in it a bit later.
Both are great though.
