What is an "RF" car?
Rear engine, front-wheel-driveI wouldn't.

Radio Frequency!
Just don't drive an MF car or you've got a tranny problem. It's in the wrong part of the car.
>>28962407Renault used to make mid front cars with the inline engine behind the gearbox.Citroen probably made similar.
Sounds like it would be a drift/oversteer monster, the snap oversteer of an rr crossed with the pulling instead of pushing of an ff.

>>28962426From how I imagine it, it would snap oversteer, but definitely not drift (that’s prolonging a slide with throttle). When the rear goes out in a FWD you steer in and use the front tires to get grip back, sometimes using throttle. With that design the weight of the engine isn’t over the front wheels so it’d be harder to recover when the rear swings.Essentially it’s got the worst of FWD without the engine up there so it’d be an understory SOB, but if you entered a corner wrong it would send you to the shadow realm since the front tires don’t get enough grip to counteract the slide.

>>28962426>>28962819I actually did a bit of fudging with Automation/BeamNG to build a Honda style RF layout hatchback. With Meaty tires and an aggressive suspension setup it was great but always felt like an MR laout with good driving would be higher potential. A regular street car setup it was ass, unpredictable at low speeds and plowed at high speeds. Midship AWD however is amazing.
>>28962753that chain drive steering loliirc there were only a couple of people capable of driving this abomination, and one of them crashed it while a key investor was on board.
