What are some quality basket weave style wheels that are currently in production? What are your favorites?

My 30 year old car originally came with some 15" BBS wheels but they were removed before it found its way to me. I'm thinking of some Enkei92 as a reasonably affordable replacement.

Vors VR3 are also nice

Fine if you have a garage queen but these things are dogshit for any regular use car.
They'll be perfectly clean exactly 1 time- when you take them out of the box. Fuck that shit.

oe crown vic/lincoln speed line sl-390s made in italy. My brother had a set on his 88 z31

Enkei92s are cheap, decent quality, and available in 4x100 and 4x114.3 which is helpful for old japanese cars. Just don't expect lightweight out of a cast basketweave wheel.

Got black enkei 92s and I live on a dirt road. No excess dirt build up, and I don't even wash frequently. Made in japan and still cheap, too.

Yep it's for a 1995 Miata.
4x100 15" by 7" or 8" is what I'm looking for, to run either a 195/50/R15 or 205/50/R15 which seems to have more options available.

I care more about comfort/fun on the street than track performance. That said I still intend to shave some unsprung weight when I eventually change my brakes and calipers.

A pressure washer and a brush with the right cleaner should make quick work of these kinds of wheels. I like washing my car anyway.

The original BBS wheels for comparison.

Went to a car meet last weekend and a guy had something like these on his old Jaguar. He said he restored them from a rusted state. They looked nice as hell. Not quite the look I'm going for though.

What's your preference? Alternatively I was considering something bronze and 6 spoke.

I think the bronze would compliment the tan soft top and interior.

They're great... if only they were wider than 7" with all that offset...

Not really my thing, but if I did, I'd choose Aussie Aunger HotWires
