>the best looking new production car in 2026 is a fucking Honda sedan
Grim
>>
Accords are generally good cars what's the issue

hondas are great
>>
Based Honda, making good cars when the rest of the auto industry sucks
>>
>>28963047
Camry looks a lot better, has more power, and comes with a spare. The nu-Accord is boring on the outside, bleak on the inside, and generally lackluster.

>what's the issue
The industry has so rapidly declined that the cars you used to dream of owning once you "made it" are now fuck ugly monstrosities.
>>
>>28963047
That car wishes it were a mazda, it's even trying with the dog shitting back end.
>>
>>28963047
the new civics look better, especially the ctr

Blown head gaskets
>>

the funny part is luce in italian means leaf
>>
>>28963068
That's the crazy thing, those 2.0L non turbo Civics are pretty much the best daily ever and they look fantastic, typically the newer the car is it's uglier, but Honda's managed to make a newer better looking car than even their 2000s stuff despite increased regulation.

>>28963072
It's very unfortunate, I'd personally buy the Accord hybrid with the non turbo 2.0 because at least it doesn't split the head gasket between cyl 2 and 4..
>>
>>28963077
>That's the crazy thing, those 2.0L non turbo Civics are pretty much the best daily ever
Hard to believe when it barely makes 150HP.
>>
>>28963061
>Camry looks a lot better
I was gonna give you shit, but I didn't realize it had been redesigned. That's honestly one of the better looking Toyotas I've seen from the past decade. This might be a return to form for them.
>>
>>28963084
I can see how it gets by, specifically with the CVT keeping it in the torque on that 2900lb car, my car weighs 3200 lbs plus fat boi plus any passengers or luggage and it moves fine on 160HP.
>>
>>28963065
The newest 7 series is hilarious. It went from a sharp and handsome car to CHING CHONG LING LONG in one iteration. It looks like a parody, of a parody, of itself.
>>
this is fucked up, the giulia is still in production (with slightly different headlights)

>nearest dealership is six hours away
Forgot it existed honestly. Good looking car though. Shame about the spaghetti nigger engineering/QC.

Not a counter argument.
>>28963047
>Grim
Agreed.
When a 36 year old Accord EX mogs your styling, then it's time to fire some of the Designers.
>>
>>28963429
Kek it's quite brutal to think about how shitbox Accords also suspension mog a lot of cars now, a double wishbone suspension with front and rear roll bars and 4 wheel disc sounds like a dream, but that was a literally regular ass vehicle.
>>
>>28963116
Was about to post it, these are on until 2027 at the very least.
>>28963138
>needing a dealership
Use an indy for anything out of warranty, not that there's much that goes wrong with these that you can't fix yourself with a basic toolset and a copy of MultiECUScan.
>>
>>28963047
Just came here to post that this is dumb opinion
>>
>>28963446
>that was a literally regular ass vehicle.
great points.
We permitted shiny bullshit and easy HP to supplant great cars
>>
>>28963047
>Round body shape
Ugly AF. Ew.
I like boxy cars ONLY.

For me, sexiest looking production car right now is the 2026 4Runner TRD Pro Hybrid.

I liked the exterior look of the previous generation 4runner too, but it didn't have wireless Android auto and had a very, very shitty screen.

>>

Yeah this car that u posted, this looks good. The one in first pic? Ugly, round car.
>>
>>28963047
Mogged by the Kia K4
>>
>>28963519
>Ugly, round car
That's how they get the sweet drag coefficient Anon, Accords used to be shaped like bricks, but when they started shaping it like a jellybean in the 2000s they increased gas mileage while putting a bigger engine in.
>>
>>28963505
What a grotesque, bloated to fuck abomination of an SUV. The 3rd gen looks 1000x better than that pile of shit.
>>
>>28963047
I like the side profile and the rear, but it would look far far better with the previous gen front grille
>>28963061
>>28963085
The upper trim level new Camry's look rather good in my opinion, it's a shame the new IS seems to borrow more from the lower trim Camry, which has a worse grille design

Totally agree.
Even the wheels are awful.
What's with the plastic, mega wheel arches too..They're gonna discolor within 5 years..

The Accord has become the vehicle of choice for Basketball-Americans
>>
Civics look great, sedan and hatchback both look good. Some personality, some Honda feel, seems like the current Civic design will age well.
>>
>>28963085
Absolutely disgusting speedholes. It looks like a gaming mouse.
>>
I remember the first time I saw a the new accord design. It's like the front of a Taurus with the tail lights of an Audi A5. I don't dislike it. The front ends of the Accord and Mustang look more and more alike every year.
>>
>>28963047
No one's buying sedans anymore.

That's being driven by the Industry though...
Estate cars should arguably be the most popular.
The 850 T5-R proved that they could be the fastest and most practical platform for 30+ years.

>no bro, I want my high CG cuckover...

don't understand why people have such a boner for new hondas, most of them look retarded especially the accord. The CRV looks alright. Prelude is a mess. GM has better looking vehicles than Honda right now

makes the wheel wells look bigger so you don't realize how comically oversized the car is relative to its wheels

>>
>>28965712
Wish I had a 75, they look so damn plush compared to my 33

Unfortunately the only 75's I ever see for sale are the damn 4cyl models which imo are a waste of time for a car like that, last V6 I saw up for sale was a thrashed race car and the seller wanted 30 G's for it about 3 or 4 years ago.
>>
>>28966353
Yeah, I imagine that it would be far easier to find a Milano V6 at a reasonable price.
Still a great car, very close to the 75's feel, iirc
