The front end is so ugly. Why not get a based GMT800?
>>

Gas or diesel? If it's diesel do you really need a diesel? Are you going to work it hard enough to warrant the diesel? If not then give the gas 6.6 or the 7.3 Godzilla a try. I myself would never own a Duramax or Powerstroke but I will also never drive a Ram. A gas 3/4 ton makes a lot more sense over a half ton even if you're using it as a daily.

Dumb, buy yourself an old GMT800.
>>
I'd be a lot more confident in a clean GMT800 making it another 20 years than this thing making it to 10 years without fucking your wallet.

Uhm, you mean NBS.
>>
My dad has one with the 6.6 Duramax. It’s a truck. It’s fine. But it’s huge and was expensive. It feels like a Chevy but they’re harder to move around in parking lots than a 90s suburban because everything real big.
>>
>>28964832
No. It's a GMT800. It's not a gay Ford.

i think you have extremely low testosterone levels and should get that checked out by a licensed professional
>>
>>28964807
>do you really need a diesel
so he should get a 10mpg max gasser that can check out at anytime thats 20x harder to work on or he can have a diesel for 20 years and pay slightly more for gas that can do whatever the gasser can do but better. genuinely the "do you really need a diesel" is shit pushed by manufacturers and oil companies so people dont buy an actual reliable vehicle that's efficient and wont blow up because its fuel is retarded.

The average millennial is around 380Ng/dl.
I don't know how most boomers were all 900.
>>
>>28964783
dunno why, you'd spend that much on one.. But if you want to and can actually afford it, go for it
for me though, if i wanted another truck, i'd go for a late 90's-2010's beater.
(our current 98 150 is pushing 350k miles. it's a work truck, but does what we need.)

GM products after 1994 are all garbage. Most were garbage before then, but afterwards it became all.

>20x harder to work on

lmao
>>
>>28965426
gramps this isn't 1995 anymore, modern diesels are ridiculously complicated. Far, FAR moreso than any gas engine in a pickup. The reason Ford made the newer 7.3 Godzilla is because consumers were asking for a gas engine capable of doing some of the work diesels can do.
>>
>>28964783
They torture me please help me

>consumers were asking for a gas engine capable of doing some of the work diesels can do.
all gas engines can do it. dodge put the 5.7 hemi in hd trucks for a while pre 6.4 its the problem is how long they can do it (not long). the godzilla has its own list of problems and is inefficient so is the 6.2, 6.4 hemi, ect. diesels once deleted have no problems unless you're retarded and dont do basic maintenance even a deleted durafag is more reliable than any gasser. diesels will last longer simply because of how diesel as a fuel is, even with emissions suffocating it. even if you think im full of shit market place isnt. find a 300k mile hd gas truck that doesnt have a pending engine failure then do the same with a diesel. its literally surface knowledge.

Don't the trannies on these fail and require a special fluid you can't buy

Trash, avoid. If you're a bowtie guy, look for a GMT800 Silverado/Sierra with the 8.1 or Duramax.

>pretending to be retarded
gasoline is more volatile than diesel, diesel is a light lubricant, diesels blocks are built tougher, and run at lower rpms. ever hear a diesel knock? pretty rare. you'll get higher mpg with diesel because its more efficient as a fuel, that is a fact nothing to debate meanwhile a gas engine gets 10 non towing mpg. my friend literally drives a 6.2 he goes through a near 30 gallon tank every week and he doesn't do shit. look you can say gassers are up to par but actually fucking drive one or learn base level engine knowledge gas trucks will always be gas hogs and retard bait vehicles because of fucking physics. the status between gassers and diesels have stayed the same since the 2000s "if you're broke get a gasser" it is not possible for a gas truck to outperform or outlive a diesel and if one will ever exist im sure ford aint fucking making it.
>>
>>28965939
You know more and more fleets are switching to gas engines, right? Cummins has a gas 6.7 on the way... My fucking 20 year old gas 3/4 ton doesn't even get 10mpg so your friend is just a retard. The Godzilla and gas 6.6 3/4 trucks get 20mpg highway. It's not fucking 1990, retard. Are you really that arrogant to the cost of keeping a modern diesel on the road?
>>
>>28965948
well gas trucks are made for fleets so no shit. they eat gas and break good for the whole auto industry. once they do get a pending engine failure they get sent to auction where it takes a soul of an uneducated manlet attempting to compensate. one exception doesn't break the trend. multiple people i work with have inefficient gassers i havent seen one hit 12 and they're all 2020+. you simply will never beat physics. you're an ignorant retard that hasnt owned anything bigger than a 1500 in his life. no an f150 tremor isnt a 3/4 ton even with you sitting in it you fat chud. also if you have the money to buy a diesel off the lot you have the money to delete and tune it.
