Utility commuter bike, like this Hybrid tries to be, has to do everything: haul groceries, ride twisties in Alps, visit a friend in France/on Kyushu on weekend, go on vacation and to the office all while spending the least amount of fuel and doing it safely. If someone needs to only ride in city a 50cc/electric scooter already does perfect job of that. If you need to go outside of city riding anything below 400-500cc is simply dangerous especially if it's something like german autobahn. 400cc is borderline too small for a commuter MOTORCYCLE.

I learned on a 07 Honda shadow 750 that I bought cheap and now im trying to decide what I want to go up into. Im kinda torn between sticking to a cruiser or going into sports touring bikes.
