No one here can afford or cares about Ferrari so why do they flood the board with their adverts?
They heard about /pol/ being influential in internet culture and think that applies to the 200 or so people worldwide who post here?
Buy an ad.

I see 9 threds 10 if we count this one advertising Ferrari to 200 people who will never be able to afford one.
How much are they spending on this?

It's not what you think.
Ferrari has a bunch of advertising bots running around.
The BOTS see key words here and start spamming.

McLaren also has a bot that reacts to 4chan posts.
It'll show up usually if you talk about Ferrari and Lamborghini in the same thread.
The bot will post how McLaren actually cares about its owners and takes feedback very seriously from track days.

>why is the board flooded with Ferrari shills?
I'm thinking it's the people who used to shill Tesla's a few years ago, until Elon upset them by supporting DJT. Now they've got a new star to shill, with the aim being to try to make ICE chads uncomfortable.

I think this is organic and what happened is two-fold: on one hand this is the natural conclusion of fiat money system where the value of currency is disconnected from anything in the physical world so anything can be worth an arbitrary amount of money - an electronic meme coin can be worth 1 millionth of a cent today and millions of dollars tomorrow, in this case a $30k EV Nissan is the exact same vehicle as this $600k Ferrari. On the other hand, this represents total implosion of globozoghomo-neoliberal value system: the absolute magnitude of this cannot possibly be overstated. In the past the neoliberal system operated via an implied unspoken incentive structure where since the young age kids were told to study hard, get good grades, get in a good university and get a successful career in banking, healthcare, law or other meme field. Once you achieve all that you will have a chance to buy a meme car like Ferrari, because of its design, performance and meme factor. If you were to ask an NPC what they would spend their money on if they won the lottery they would say "BUY LE FERRARI!" in 98% of cases. It is not just a car, it is a massive symbol for neoliberalism. When someone looks at a Ferrari like this and goes "Wtf is this shit?", that completely demolishes the incentive structure of contemporary socio-economic system. It's basically like a nuke going off on the values of neoliberalism, but because the values and unspoken rules are the only thing that keeps the system together (the enforcement apparatus is very limited) it becomes a systemic risk.
