How many years left do we have before pre-2000 cars start becoming a rarity? The supply must be dwindling at an increasingly fast pace every year as they break and get scrapped. Makes me sad, especially considering the junk we have now.
>>28967424There are thousands of retards all across the world that think buying cheap cars and not changing the oil makes them based. The supply is dwindling every day.
>>28967424Pre 2000's cars are already practically extinct if you live deep in the rust belt. The most plentiful pre 2000's vehicle I see is the GMT400 and there aren't that many of them. Pre 2000's cars have all been miled out or have rusted to death by now. Sadly even the 2000-2006 cars are starting to go the way of the dodo bird and yes that includes all the Hondas and Toyotas from that era. Thankfully there are still millions of GMT800's out there.
>>28967424>Thankfully there are still millions of GMT800's out thereThey're ugly thoughbeit
>>28967478That's just like your opinion. They're not lookers but neither is anything newer than them. There is more to a useful truck than it's looks.
>>28967424There are already rare 90s cars, let alone older ones.
>>28967478Stop speaking like a retard
>>28967424they already are
>>28967424it's already happening in eastern europe when i live too. they didn't become rarity but a premium, there is no such thing as a good-condition 2k USD car anymore. 2k is a shit beater, 5k is more like it for everything 2005 and back, when electrical components wouldnt be so present in everything and wouldnt break down like shit.my country example:passat B6 is sometimes cheaper than B5.5 due to less electronics and shit to breakquestion is, whats next say in 2040? 2020 cars will be today's 2000s beaters. i simply cannot imagine what of these new things keeping up with the years
>>28967495>question is, whats next say in 2040? 2020 cars will be today's 2000s beaters. i simply cannot imagine what of these new things keeping up with the yearsThere's no way current gen cars stay around hardly at all. They're way too complicated and over-engineered to the point that there is just way too many points of failure (and a lot of them you can't fix yourself, dealership only) compared to old cars which are simple without all the frills.
>>28967495It's not fucking fair.
