There are plenty of cars with similar HP values as the C8 Stingray that have manual gearboxes, and the C8 Stingray is not some track devouring monster, it's a fun drive around town car. I get that automatics get better lap times, but for a fun drive around town car manual is much more engaging.
The true way to own the streets is to swerve around like a maniac taking up every lane possible, and driving on sidewalks. Now you actually own the street.
