I'd choose the red.

I want a cargo van, why are these stupid things $50,000? There is nothing to them. Also why would I get a Chevy Express over a Ford Transit?

white is best for long term because it doesn't show scratches or imperfections easily. plus it's what 90% of fleet/commercials are so easier to find used replacement panels if you ever damage one. silver is second best. red fades quickly and ends up looking pink after 10 years in sun. black shows every fucking scratch on day 1.

the express is much more reliable.

This. Even in their home domain (eur*pe) they are known to be shitboxes.

Chebby needs to get on board with the high roof designs and I am sure they will take some merc and ford sales
>>
>>28972916
The Express is sort of a commercial vehicle that's somewhat designed to last a long time under harsh conditions. That's going to cost a lot more than a disposable piece of shit. Transits are pieces of shit that fall apart, get V8 fuel economy and cost a fucking lot to keep on the road. They do drive a lot better though.

>>28972946
The white will also look like shit as soon as the paint peels off and you're left with the Gorbachev spots.

>>28973488
If you want a high roof Express you would buy the chassis cab and put your own body/box on it.

Are they really that bad? I want a van to load motorcycles in and things like that. I like the idea of Chevy's simplicity, but the Transit's medium roof would be perfect.

they probably aren't bad but the chevy/gmc has the most proven and simple powertrain by far.

the one with diesel, awd and sliding doorson both sides.
>>
>>28973488
no they are not. they are among the best van's you could get here at that time. im talking up to and including mk7 so not the transits they got in usa. they are the only car im aware off that on the same frame and chassis came in fwd transverse engine and longditudional rwd and awd. said awd, once it kicks in, its funky as shit since its made ny county 4x4 in uk, it will take you places you didnt expect a van could go. it basicly engage the front axle that doesnt have a differential (!) and since these vans are front heavy unless loaded once 4wd has engaged it will go where you point your steering wheel.
>>
>>28974342
the new awd sprinters seem to have the best "4wd" system. you can put a locker in the rear. then again, there is really no reason to get awd in one unless it's the short 144 wheelbase. it's the only one that would fit on a trail and not get high centered on everything.

black with a black cattle guard so everyone thinks im a fed

tradesmen who will pay inflated prices because they literally need it and vanlifers with too much money who don't even care about the pricetag

Sounds like the perfect spec.

>it basicly engage the front axle that doesnt have a differential

So. If the two front wheels cant rotate separately. How does the vehicle turn? You ever driven a vehicle with a locked front axle? Even in soft sand it wants to plow forward.

Maybe you mean there is no center diff?
>>
i have never been more bullied on the road than while driving a van. maybe it is skill issue because i can't judge the length of my van well enough yet, but i usually get blocked from changing lanes, even if i try to wedge myself in. everytime i toggle that turn signal, traffic speeds up and closes gaps, which makes no sense because it only means i will inevitably end up further ahead of them, so i guess in a way, it's a win because i save time somehow. it does mean however, that i am even obligated to show my gratitude in some way, by either waving or flashing the hazards, as a way to say thank you to the kind souls who do let me in.
