For days the TPMS sensor on my wife's daily was lit up on the dash but she never told. I go to fill up and notice it. All tires were at 28-29psi so I inflate them all to 34 or so. I expect the TPMS sensor to turn off on it's own but it's still on. Why?
Just give it time. There is no rush.
>>28973131The cheat way to reset tire pressure monitors is to remove a battery ground for 30min.Just use Whatever cold pressure the door jamb says.
>>28973131Sometimes you just need to drive it for a little bit above 20 mph for it to reset on its own after setting the pressures
How TPMS Update Frequencies WorkWhile in motion: Sensors usually update and transmit pressure readings to your car's computer every 1 to 5 minutes. When standing still: To save battery, sensors typically go to sleep and only update every few hours, or stop transmitting entirely.
Just pull the light from behind the gauge cluster where the (((TPMS sensor))) indicator is.
>>28973200Do you really think that modern gauge clusters still use light bulbs that you can remove? Dude it's been all LED's on circuit boards for decades.
>>28973157It's been 4 days.
>>28973210Disconnect battery overnight.
>>28973207Well if you drive such a modern vehicle, then a faulty sensor should be the least of your concerns.
