my friend had a nice audi (forgot which model) with the 3.0 TDI V6. the engine spun a bearing and since no junkyard engines could be found they ended up doing a full engine rebuild which cost like 15k (a new crankshaft alone was 3k and had to be ordered from audi)I owned a VW once and it was such a POS that I will never buy anything made by VAG again
