Good choice OP. I regret not getting one of these before used car prices skyrocketed.

For me:
BMW M340i
Alfa Romeo Giulia QV
BMW Z4 M40i (Manual)
>>
>>28974291
QV for sure, but if that's on your list you may as well scratch off the 340
>>28974280
TVR T350 seems affordable

That stupid dumb grill ruins that whole generation of Toyotas and Lexus for me.

None of these are affordable by my standards.

My dream car is a Chevrolet Caprice or Buick Roadmaster with a target price of $5-7k or maybe a 1970s Thunderbird or Cougar for ~$8k.

Current dream car, Aston DB12. Knowing AM they'll depreciate down to about $120k within five years and then I'll grab one.

>>28974280
Good choice OP. Just bought a 2021 convertable LC 500 and it's absolutely amazing. Incredible sound, amazing interior, feels like such a bargain.

>>28974515
The 2018 coupes with some miles on are. There is a huge price jump around 2020/2021 for the improved suspension and handling
>>
>>28974280
You're just a bitch looking for a handbag. fuck off

1. Corvette C6 Z06
2. Non-GT-R Skylines (32,33,34)
3. SLK 55 AMG
>>28974543
I've never bothered to look what is AM up to, but I'm surprised they still make beautiful cars. The interior isn't raped by screens either.
>>
>>28974543
>>28974579
Aston does make some great looking cars
>>
>>28974579
They're an underrated bargin once they get old enough, if you can afford some maintenance costs. More reliable than old ferarris, lambos etc. You can get a 2018 vantage or 2014 vanquish for about $90k. Their main downside are their interiors which have been dated and kinda cheap feeling (for a $250,000 price-when-new car) until the latest generation.

>You can get this for $90,000
Almost bought it instead of the LC.

1. Kurtis 500G.
2. Lotus 11
Both of my dream cars attainable to build. Already starting to hoard Offy parts for my Kurtis. Could probably put together an extremely nice 500G for ~$120k over the course of a decade.

An old corvette or mustang gt? Easy 400HP monsters.

Rivian R2 AWD. Also around 60k new but should come down in a few years used.
>>
>>28974649
What are you smoking? C6 Corvettes are probably the most prized and overrated while Mustang GTs didn't start making 400 HP until like, the Gen 1 Coyote.

I used to dream about owning a turd gen camaro back when they were about 5k€ but I didn't have money back then. now they're 15k but I still don't have money.

Always wanted one of these since playing Midnight Club on the PS2 as a kid.
They're absolutely worthless so would make a really cheap daily driver alongside my MX5.
>>
>>28975245
Again shame you yanks never got the 300C Touring wagon with a 3 litre mercedes turbodiesel V6.
It's an ugly interior, but surprisingly comfortable and that turbodiesel really fits that fatass blob of a car.

The Acmat really cool. There are still plenty on the market as they rotate out of French service and they still make them for thirdie countries so parts are easy to get.

These are still super cheap in the US and Japan. If you’re in Europe, get a manual diesel and mod it or get a manual QV.
There’s currently a manual QV on autoscout24 for only 40k euros (179,000km).
Some maintenance on the QV can be a pain, and you should probably replace some plastic bits for long-term reliability, but it seems like a sure bet for appreciation in the future.

I kinda already have all the cars I'd want, but I'd also really like to have a Trabant 601S Universl and a GAZ M20 Pobeda.

Oh and the Trabant and the GAZ are both in the 5 grand ballpark, the Trabant sometimes being around 3 grand a really clean Pobeda like 8 grand.
