Is that someone zip-tying a plastic bag to an A/C line to “cover” a leak?
Or is there a hidden scooby snack in the bag?
>>
>>28979300
previous owner bought the wrong compressor, bag is for keeping the lines debris free

Absolutely fucking nothing, apparently, just a day of one step forward and two steps back. First cock up was when I came to undo the very last head bolt, which is against the firewall and extremely awkward to get an angle on - rounded the bolt head and needed to buy an extractor set to get it out. Second cock up was putting the head back on - the bolts are torque to yield and have a 20nm + 180° + 5° torqueing setup, which of course I fucked by slipping on the last bolt, knocking the angle gauge and completely losing what angle I was at. I'm not entirely confident the other bolts are even at the right torque either though, as the gauge is so damn awkward to use that I think I tightened them a tad too much to begin with. Regardless, turns out it was all for naught anyway, because I completely forget to replace the valve stem seals that came with the gasket set! Absolutely fucking exquisite work on my part~

replacing the radiator. current one is pretty clogged and nobody rods out radiators anymore, they only want to do a full recore which will cost an insane amount of money which is only worth it if you're doing a 1000 point restoration.
gonna use this radiator to have a go at desoldering and rodding it out myself.

Definitely not my life
Probably not the lawn ornaments I already own
No it's gotta be some new strange
something that looks terrible on the outside
but feels tight and cozy on the inside
while it wastes my money and time
until it leaves me like everything else

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2008 with 1.6L

Tiny I4 in an engine bay thats built to be able to fit a 3.2L V6 = so easy to work on. Was taking my sweet time and working slowly and even then it only took about 3 hours to get the head off
>>
