ITT: we post interiors that are better than modern Mercedes / BMW / Audi.

Easy mode: actually good interiors
Hard mode: Screen slop, but still better than German slop

Apart from the utterly retardedly tall dash, the iPad is pretty small, the "instrument cluster" screen has an anti-glare shroud, and there are actual physical HVAC controls.

You're trying to send us on a wild goose chase. Screen "slop" is the absolute bottom of the barrel.

Literally got a Jetta because it's the least intrusive cockpit one can get in a new car that size without screen overload. Ordered mine with the normal cluster and the small screen. It was extremely hard to find one in an upper trim without the electronic cluster and big touchscreen. Had to get an SE that had a bunch of weirdly specially ordered SEL options.

That generation of VAG was still pretty nice and practical. They used a similar layout in some SEATs and Skodas. Audis are typically a bit more custom.
Their new platform fucked this up so bad, I wouldn't buy one of those even if it had a decent engine and spec at a decent price.

Going for hardmode. New Aston interior. Has screen slop but doesn't look as shit as the German interiors.

The Lincolns have an intriguing interior which leverages the high beltlines of modern cars to put the entire dash above the top of the steering wheel. Screenslop? Yes. More innovative than germslop? Also yes.
