What is a good transporter in the lower 48? Hard mode: must have first or second had experience. The guy I used once before is now $2.75 a mile, but I am seeing companies online such as Road Runner Auto Transport willing to do it for like 75 cents a mile.. I don't know if those first popping up on good result companies are legit though.

Nah brother stay up there
>>28988554Don't have 1st-hand experience but recently was quoted about $1/mile for transporting a new car from a stealyershit to my homeHonestly though the entire auto transport industry is horrid. You probably already know this. It's like asking "who's the most upstanding drug dealer in my town"
>>28988554it doesnt matter because anyone you contact online is probably going to be a broker or a lead-generation service. ive used DAS before (dasshipping - com) but it was corporate paid move and long ago so my prices arent relevant today but they are legit. also have recently used a small independent broker who was really helpful and explained how the industry worked over text, I put in an offer on rate less than about $1/mile for a 700 mile transport. it didnt get taken, so I bumped it up a little (maybe $1.10? i dont remember) and it got taken.in that move my car was open transport, no issues though (early fall in the south) and arrived on time as scheduled. but again broker>whoever takes the offer.
