This is used on the 2AZ-FE, which has a top mounted filter location, which makes pre-filling impossible. Nice try you fucking troll. 0/10
>>
>>28988603
theres no point
>>
Do it also put in some cum for luck
>>
depends which way the filter faces, wet the element at minimum
>>
>>28988603

thats for the V35A you dingus. its that engine in the new tundras which had lots of recalls
>>
This may come as a surprise but, oil is very sticky & good at adhering to surfaces such as metals. The idea that in the 3 seconds it takes for oil to start flowing through the filter upon first startup post oil change as if the engine is bone dry and is going to start causing damage sounds crazy.

Congrats on not understanding the most basic of automobile engineering principals. You should do some research before you post again.
I suggest you start with "shell bearings"

no, but do check em

Why even bother? I just prime the oil pump before I fire it up. Plus my filter mounts horizontally so I couldn't do this if I wanted to.
>>
>>28988999
Welp looks like you ain't prefilling shit OP
>>
>>28988603
>pre fill
Years ago, there was a company that offered an Oil System pressurization pump system.
Most of the engine wear, they posited, was effected during Cold Starts.

This is absolutely a Fact.
>>
>>28989004
>I just prime the oil pump before I fire it up.
Walk us through the exact Steps an the exact Make / Model that you are referring to....
>>
>>28989052
did you mean oil warming? cause cold starts cause engine wear due to it being a cold start, not low oil pressure.
>>
>>28989055
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454
1. Remove distributor,
2. Insert tool I made by cutting the handle off of a flat blade screwdriver,
3. Insert other end into drill chuck,
4. Spin until oil pressure shows on the mechanical gage,
5. Reverse above procedure.
>>
>>28988603
why wouldn't you?
>>
Just fill it, there's no reason NOT to

Just use an Accusump.
Pre-oil the engine before start up.
No need to prefill a filter.

I'm assuming you're talking about an accumulator like an Accusump?
>>

Flat out wrong.
>>28989144
>I'm assuming you're talking about an accumulator like an Accusump?
Bingo, thank you.
>>
>>28989004
This is the way.
My 1980's Japanese motorcycle (air cooled, only 80HP/Litre) manual specifies pulling the plugs and running the starter until the oil light goes off. The factories know this matters, even if they don't say so.
>>
>>28989111
Just convert to dry sump.It works by changing and adding expensive parts.
>>
>>28989111
Trips noted. Has OP's question been answered?

you are a retard
>>
>>28989185
Just change over to 2 stroke so theres no oil filters.

No.
FFS keep it simple.
This isn't NASCAR
>>
>>28989188
>This isn't NASCAR
But it could be, with just a few simple mods
>>
>>28989095
of course there is, if it's a pain in the ass to screw it on you might drop it and spill a bunch of oil
also some oil filters are top mounted, which makes it completely pointless
>>
>>28989112
I don't re-time it (as if that is difficult). I just put a piece of tape across the distributer flange and intake manifold and then cut it with an x-acto knife. Later I line up the tapes.
>>
>>28989181
I love dry sumps, but I don't have $8,000+ to blow on one.
Pulling vacuum in the crankcase is based.
Makes more power.
>>
>>28988603
i think you should.

Hi there, newfriend!
I can't help but notice that you're using a screen name and a tripcode incorrectly, so I thought I would help you with some advice.
Unlike other websites you're probably more familiar with (like Reddit and X/Twitter), this is an anonymous message board. That means that the content of your post is all that matters, not who said it. There's also no karma, upvote, or follower count systems here, so making posts under screen name gives no benefits. So lose the screen name, and give being part of the community a try!

Oil can be cold and still lubricate. No oil can be any temp and can not lubricate.
>>
>>28988603
Fill it with cum. You can do it if you start now.
>>
>>28989563
Engine Oil at 1,000F can't lubricate anything.
