2-4x a year.
Shitbox beater? Every 3 years. When I own an actually mint car? Monthly but with more frequent little touch ups here and there.
It's not a car it's a motorbike and I only clean it if I've been riding through mud, and even then it's not a proper rub down. I just spray it with a high pressure hose to get the mud off.Is there a reward for taking this quiz? Are you taking notes?
>>28989428When I buy it. It gets detailed like it's going to a car show. After that, only when it needs it.
>>28989428twice a month or more
>outsidenever>insideevery day with a damp cloth
>>28989428I wash the outside every two weeks or so, with a wax every 3-4 months. I clean the interior out ( vacuum, wipe down, etc) every 3-4 weeks, and I clean the upholstery and carpets once a year.
>>28989428Nice car doesn't need interior cleaning often because never let it get dirty.Fun car idc much desu.Daily, have gotten into habit of wiping down hard surfaces in interior with cloth while waiting for warm-up, throw rubbish at the petrol station, vacuum carpets and leather clean once a month.
>>28989428I've never understood why people just leave garbage in their cars. It's such a negroid, subhuman mentality.
>>28989428In dry times? Every 2 or so weeks, since it keeps a good shine for a while. In winter? Rarely, it just rains every fucking day.>>28989765Usually just women in my experience. My friends ex filled the passenger side footwell with empty plastic bottles she'd just discard.
I wipe the dash and such with a microfiber almost every day just when I'm waiting or whatever. It's never dirty I just don't like dust and stuff.I do a deep interior clean maybe 3 times a year. That's griots cleaner with brush, griots detailer + uv, and vacuum.I wash the outside probably once a month, more in winter and spring because of dirty ass wet roads and pollen.I don't have shit to do and I'm pretty ocd about stuff like that in general, so I enjoy it somewhat.
>>28989784>wipe dash with microfiber>can hear the static charge
>>28989428I give a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth about twice a week, and wash it about once a week. I also try and vacuum it out every week or so. It's hard to keep my car clean though, since my job usually leaves me covered in dust, and it inevitably gets everywhere.
>>28989428I have a car wash subscription so whenever I feel like doing a quick clean.
>>28989428i don't eat or drink inside my car, so it almost never needs cleaning. This is partly because I don't want mice attacking it, and the smell of food lures those little bastards, but also because ford in their infinite wisdom designed the cupholders such that they make shifting gears nearly impossible if you use the cupholders.i'll wash it a few times a year, mainly during summer (live up a quarter mile gravel lane, so it gets very dusty)
>>28990051>buy 30 y.o. Car>satchels of mouse poison under the seats and even one zip tied right next to the exhaust manifold (great way to poison yourself)>have been all around the engine and part of the dash>see zero wiring issues or any sign of rodents No doubt there’s a frayed wire somewhere that’s going to fuck my day up sometime.
>>28990054:(((((but also car manufacturers:>sure let's make our wiring jackets out of s.o.y based polymers, what could POSSIBLY go wrong.
>>28989428I clean them once before I sell them Unless it's a trade in
Ever since I watched that episode of Top Gear where they took their cars to the Manlove forensics I can't stop thinking about what kind of filth the previous owners might have made. If buying 2nd hand, how do you deal with the idea that you're sitting in a place that could potentially be filled with spit snot shit and cum particles?
