I just got my motorcycle permit, but I’m not interested in riding a traditional motorcycle. Instead, I’m looking at getting a 125cc–200cc scooter or moped for getting around town. They’re fuel-efficient, and I like the idea of being outside rather than sitting in a hot car in traffic. I live in the city and don’t expect to do any highway riding. I don't mind going down calmer backroads if I need to travel far. With that in mind, which should I go with? I am only 5'2.A dealership near me sells used vespas but they also have a beautiful honda super cub which is rare to see here. Choose for me please.
whichever one has the fattest tires, that was always my complaint with mopeds

Find a BMW C1
I have a 125cc, its nice for city, cheap tu run and maintain, but want to go any faster that 80km/h... U will need something bigger.
>>28989754Nmax or PCX. Vespas look nice but are overpriced.Kymco is also good the slave class in my city abuse those daily.
>>28989754just go on marketplace or kijiji or whatever and get whatever fits, it literally does not matter. and your first of any type of vehicle exists solely as a training device to figure out what features you want/need/dont like/dont need and what is within your ability to fix as things wear out or break
>>28989754You know cars have AC right? You should be on a surron instead of those
>>28989754>beautiful honda super cubWell, that's the obvious choice.>>28989851This. Kymco > Honda when it comes to scooters, desu.
I'm also in the same boat except I don't have a full motorcycle permit, just a <125cc moped license. I want to get something cheap to decide whether I enjoy it and get a full license. What's the cheapest way of getting to grips with riding that could prepare me for a more powerful bike? Assuming I even go for something more powerful.
>>28989783cub has much bigger tires than comparably sized scooters. that said it has zero storage so scooters win on that front.
>>289897543rding Kymco, my Super8 150 has the same GY6 that basically every scoot has making it incredibly easy to maintain.
>>28989754>5'2wtf?
>>28989754>I am only 5'2.VERY CUTE POST

>Super 8Good, fun choices if you want to do stunts. Or you can get a Like 150 or or 200i. They are nearly the same gy6 platform but beefed up and EFI. The Like 150 has the same 13HP, 4 valve engine as the Kymco Racing 150. The only issue is aftermarket parts are hard to find.
