+1 on the a229+. Picked up 3 of them along with wiring kits and polarized lenses for about $615 total back during a sale late 2024. My 70mai dashcam uses a tiny battery but I prefer it, it's a very small battery and it ensures the camera will gracefully shut on and off, or stay triggered during an accident. I use the 48hr surveillance where it records 1fps at all times. I've already started 2 insurance claims from people just hitting my vehicle parked, and I caught them red handed with the cameras.
