will gold plating ever make a comeback? does it match the look of modern cars?
Yeah, negros do it all the time.
>>28995715Subaru uses it on the Wilderness' and Ford uses it on the Tremors. I think it looks fucking tacky and terrible when it's sitting on a bunch of black plastic. A third Gen 4Runner can pull it off but nothing newer than that.
>>28995715It was a very 1990s trend. There were some cars in the 90s where dealers would dip the badges in gold and add gold pinstripes along the sides if you bought a green car, I saw a few Euro cars like that and it made people on forums ask if it was factory since it was so common.
No and thank god, it looks ugly as fuck
don't do this unless you've got a lowrider
>>28995715Chrome and gold are 90s aesthetic, zoomers need the badge to be illuminated by temu LEDs.
>>28995715No. it should be relegated to being on period cars, for which it is very based and I wish I had a set for my toyota.
