Market shifted away from big sedans to SUVs and hatchbacks and Holdens way of keeping up was importing and rebadging the biggest piles of shit in automotive history that absolutely killed their reputation.
They were probably going to die anyway but they would've had a better chance if they developed an SUV and an affordable hatch themselves
