How old is the car?
>19 y.o. Honda motorbike
>old shit keeps failing (fork seals, stator/regulator, ignition barrel, cush bearing)
>27 y.o. Ford
>biggest problem is the wire to the indicator switch wiggled loose

If you got 19 years out of fuckin fork seals you’ve done pretty well
>>
>>28995976
I probably didn't. I owned it only for a few years and the previous owner repaired it after a crash. The dash is aftermarket (I think?) so maybe the front end was fucked and replaced. It would've been maybe 3 years then until the seals broke if that's when they were replaced.

Ah, I see you're in a similar boat
>have car
>car starts having issues
>fix issue
>barely drive car because no time
>another issue appears
>fix issue
>barely drive car because no time
>finally have time to drive car
>transmission sends itself into the shadow realm
I knew it was a matter of time but I was hoping it would last at least until I buy a house. At this point I'm really tempted to get rid of it but I dread having to interact with car "people" trying to sell it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
