I was planning to buy a car for $10k but I can't make up my fucking mind which car to buy so I've been paying for an empty parking spot since I sold my previous car more than a month ago. The cheapest car you can find will be a 1980's 2.2 L auto-3 reliant/aries. They're somewhat rare but universally forgotten. Anything else with even a modicum of reliability will be 3k+, either because it's a good car (Buick/Toyota/Ford panther) or because it's now in "enthusiast" territory due to not being a piggish shitover

Look for a Pontiac Vibe. It is a Toyota Matrix (the hatchback version of the Corolla) but branded as a Pontiac.
You should be able to find one CHEAP, as most owners are oblivious.
