which would you rather drive?
BMW has a better looking side profile, do probably that
>>28997171Tough choice. The rebadged mini gives off 'I bought a FWD BMW' vibes while quashqai gives 'I should not be allowed to drive' vibes.
"I would kill myself in the airport" kind of situation
>>28997171Of those two, the BMW might be slightly less mom car. Very slightly. How are the reliability and maintenance costs? Some older Qashqais seem to fail inspections a lot since the suspension joints and steering wear out, but it's not like Nissan owners are known for taking care of their cars, so who knows if it's specifically a Qashqai problem.
>>28997182the bmw is a regular b38/48 car, probably the most reliable car of the past decadethe quashqai failing inspections due to worn out suspension and tie rods is a good sign. That means the engine and transmission survive long enough for these wear items to need replacement.
>>28997171a yaris
>>28997171>which would you rather drive?Something else.
>>28997186Yeah, I don't think the Qashqai is terribly unreliable, for something built on a shared Renault-Nissan platform.I suspect a lot of Nissan owners just take their cars to the inspection shop mostly unserviced to get a minimum list of repairs needed to keep the thing on the road for another year. Or the moms driving them don't even notice anything wrong. In either case, the cars end up with a lot more recorded inspection fails than something that's maintained with more effort.
>>28997171Previous-gen X1 with the proper, 3-Series based chassis and a twin turbo, 3.0L N55 (newer X1 is basically a FWD-based MINI Countryman instead). Toss an off the shelf tune at it and you've got a full on sleeper/daily.
I would rather drive off a bridge
