wtf is wrong with those japs

who the fuck makes a roll bar linkage so short?
this shit is impossible to tell if it has gone bad, as its so fucked and sits at a retarded angle when car is on ground or lifted

Shake it with the suspension compressed. Not hard. If it doesn't have play it's fine. Smaller is better for reduced unsprung weight.

look at the fucking linkage

explain to me how do you "shake it" considering its a sub 2000lb car and its so short? you end up lifting the fucking car trying to check fhe bushings

Grab each joint one at a time with your hand and try to move it around. This is not as difficult as you are making it out to be. If you need room to get under the car you can jack it up then rest each corner's lower control arm on a jackstand to keep the suspension compressed.

>it's gone bad
Are you using aftermarket swaybars? Why not just get nice aftermarket endlinks if you're worried about them going bad?

either roll the wheels onto ramps so you can shimmy the end link at load, or you lift that end of the car, set one control/trailing arm at ride height and then jack up the other to simulate the whole axle under load. it's not that complicated. fucking wrenchlet

>>28999921
yeah, this. I have just enough clearance on my current car, but my last one needed to roll up on race ramps just to reach the fucking links. resetting the ride height every summer/winter was mildly annoying

>Going full retard online
Grab the stabilizer bar section and push/pull up and down as if you were loading the link.
It usually doesnt take too much force but it might. Start soft and shake progressively harder.
Youll feel a clunk if it's bad. Theres a tiny chance it's only worn in a certain section.
If thats the case, youll need to load the suspension to get to that worn section before you feel it.

Youre welcome, wrenchlet
