Are all Hondas a PITA to do oil changes on or is the B20 just a special case? I had to wrap my whole ass arm around the suspension contorting my body just to get the wrench in a position that could grab the filter since the exhaust and half shaft made it impossible to get to from underneath. Even then I was only getting 1cm of motion with the wrench. I kind of want to sell this car now just because of the motor, I don't like doing oil changes on it and the valves needing to be adjusted every 30k miles is retarded.

>>29055058It's a combination of things, the space between cylinders two and three is a weak spot on the gasket with those stupid coolant slits cut into the block which wears away at the gasket, the head bolts may not be adequate enough for the job and stretch which causes coolant seepage, and combine that with turbocharging, which puts more pressure in the cylinders than what was on K series or the old R18 or L15A engines of old.

I'm happy to take it because I've been dailying a miata for 18 months and have realized how much a boon even a slightly more practical second car would be. anyway, any issues common to this car, any maintenance items I should prioritize over all others? anything I need to watch out for? I planned on new tranny oil and plugs no matter what as I'm almost certain it's got the spark plugs it rolled off the line with, might get the wheels restored too after throwing some CC2's on. pic semi-rel, only other honda I ever owned, interior of a hand me down 04 EX coupe with a 5 speed that I adored until the rust ate it.
