They're not building anything. They have no components, no fuel, no functional infrastructure or factories.

Very believable especially with an almost 20 years old picture

>According to Russian media, the production is based on remaining stocks in former BMW plants, which have been stored since 2022. The former partner Avtotor is now taking advantage of this: Cars have been assembled again in its factories since the beginning of 2025 - the BMW models X5, X6 and X7.
>>
The funniest part of all this is that since it's those people we're talking about there's a 99% chance most of those cars have some insane ghettofixes going on inside them just to push them out the factories SEEMINGLY complete and finished despite many parts not available to them.
I totally expect some airbags of those either not existing, replaced by some Ladabags or fart cushions. Brakes probably come from some 90s Daewoos.
>>
>>29014553
While this is possible they also might just get parts from China since BMW also produces over there and they're really submissive towards the Chinaman so won't rebel.
>>
>>29014538
Fuck Moishe gonna do.

Apparently they’re charging a premium too lmao.
up to 150k eurobux per SUV and the Russians are buying them

Their rich love larping as westerners. The country may be filling with churkas, but they're not like that! They only drive western cars and enjoy western luxuries and hobbies in their civilized, western city.
Apparently they're willing to pay quite a bit to continue the larp.

To be fair, Russians are white and often intelligent. Would you trust a Hyundai made by black people in Alabama? Guess you didn’t think about it.

I can 100% assure you that in many cases the results are identical.

are slavs not just black people with white skin. sure, they can be intelligent, and they have pioneered some of the most revolutionary technology in human history, but intelligence =/= craftsmanship.

Sounds kind of funny, I wonder just how different these Russian built ones are. I recall somewhere in Africa there were Alfa Romeos being built using extra parts in some bus factory and Alfa Romeo had no idea it was happening.
>>
>>29014606
I think a Hyundai built in either country would be of extremely poor quality, though I'd probably still trust the US made ones since there are at least some regulations compared to Russia.

I read another article and it sounds like they're sourcing a lot of the additional parts from China and theyr'e likely not even BMW approved parts, so it's going to be half official parts and half Temu parts. Interestingly they're all parts and bodies from previous models, including designs that went out of production at the end of 2022, so they're brand new builds of cars BMW themselves don't even make.

Craziest part is a base model of these Russian built ones costs $163,000USD in Russia. Surely it would be cheaper to just import one from Romania or some shit?

Lmao, it's "Bild", a tabloid for barely literate people, no wonder it has a clickbait title

>>29014553
>The funniest part of all this is that since it's those people we're talking about there's a 99% chance most of those cars have some insane ghettofixes going on
Nailed it, it's even stated in the article, they build them out spare parts lying around, rigging the missing stuff out of mystery shit on the fly
>The hilarious part is that those cars cost 50% MORE than before, as in you pay more than 150k euro for an X7 that's going for 105k usually
>>
>>29014538
I trust them more than an "official" bmw
>>
>>29015373
Insane price tags. I really have to wonder how many features are missing from the cars since there would be so many modules that can't work with each other. Maybe there's some crazy aftermarket shit in them like an Android headunit instead of the iDrive unit.
>>
>>29015150
>I wonder just how different these Russian built ones are.
Russia, like many other nations, does not have full capability to make all parts, so they may be likely stripped down, or maybe they actually do have parts stockpiled and it's made to spec.

Thing is, this is 4 years into this war and that's long enough for supplies to fall short no matter how much stockpile exists.
>>
>in five years time the russian cobbled-together BMWs are highly sought after for being significantly more reliable and actually repairable compared to the kraut technogarbage

Doubtful, they're getting a lot of parts from China. You can buy shitty knockoffs of just about any car part from China for dirt cheap, so they're no doubt finishing them off with some AliExpress garbage inside.
>>
>>29014606
>Russians are often intelligent
Nah, they're usually drunkards that are as sophisticated as 2 marbles rolling around in a bucket.

All by design too, the tsars and Stalin kept those state ran vodka production lines pumpin' and as the booze flowed, the IQ got low.
>t. Kraut's video on Russians and vodka on youtube
>>
>>29014553
I'm pretty sure they have access to Chinese car parts but yeah it's basically built on lowest-bidder aftermarket slop.

That shit happened when Chechens stole millions worth of tractors and combines from a dealership a few years ago
Little did they know that John Deere is way more autistic about this than car companies and when they arrived in Grozny all tractors were bricked kek
