Jaguar is kind of a joke now and doesn't even compete in "real" motorsports anymore. Cadillac competes in WEC, IMSA, and F1 at this point, and makes better cars than both.But generally speaking, Jaguar has the richer history whilst Benz has historically made better cars. but both are pretty shit these days.

Luv my 92 300SL I got it from my dad for 1.5K and it's been a fun daily. Sent the cluster to get fixed and I fixed the A/C which blows surprisingly cold but I might recharge it since I don't think it's 100%. Then I need figure out the poor starting issues, replace the whole suspension, fix the leaky hydraulic line on the convertible motor, and some cosmetic stuff.
