>heavy>Gas guzzler >Bulky>Uncomfortable I seriously cannot comprehend why why so many people would be obsessed with a goldwing
>>29017926Ok
>>29017926Ok.
>>29017926If Goldwing isn't comfortable, which bike is? R6?
>>29017926>800lb flat 6 flying couch capable of 0-60 in 4s
>>29017926H U S Q U A V A R N A
>>29017926Have you ridden one?
>>29017926>Uncomfortableit's the most comfortable bike ever made and it pulls like a fucking supercar while being more engaging to drive
>>29017926Goldwing bobber
>>29017926>>UncomfortableManlet wrenchlet no-bike take
>>29017983this, boomers get them because they're easy to drive and very comfy, with giant fuckoff engines you can cruise on at like 2500rpm for good mileage but still have power available to pass "outlaws" for /r/publicfreakout contentthey're gay asf boomer mobiles but like every other boomer thing it is Good, Actually, just At What Cost
>>29017926I really don't care about the goldwing, but look at that glorious torque curve it has. Also what a strange thing to start a thread raging about a goldwing.
>>29018043>driveNobike detected
>>29017989That's a much better version
>>29018029150cc max is all anyone needs
>>29018103>What fun sounds like to someone with no balls or ability to ride a freewayMany such cases with the baby bike shills
>>29018067>Peak tork at idlenoice>DCTghey
>>29018067Damn. Not my style but respectable. Like you said, why rage about a Goldwing. These dudes are doing their own thing very happily and don't care about your input. They're banging their grey droopy wife every night after a 500 mile ride and that can't be said for full dress Harley boomers.
>>29018162You sound like a nobike
>>29018067Would a Gold Wing engine be suitable for my AC generator head? 1800rpm
>>29018165I have a bike.
>>29018169Pics or it didn't happen
>>29018168GoldWing engine is unironically suitable for any and every application
>>29018074To be fair, riding a goldwing is more like driving a small car than riding a bike.
>>29018194True, these big bikes power slide like a car which is its own kind of cool but unlike smaller bikes that wheelie instead
>>29018168>>29018190With a curve like that you could probably put it in a small enough tractor.
>>29017989HE WAS NUMBER ONE
>>29018273Rune was probably the best looking bike ever
Years ago I used to have a full-dresser 1100 Wing. Went touring on the continent, two up, camping gear. Comfy, fast-ish, handled well enough for me (I’m no scratcher hero) could ride it all day, switch it off when we arrived, switch it on again in the morning and ride it all day again.
Ok, now a better question. Would you rather go on a road trip on Goldwing or Miata?
>>29018545What gen Miata? NA or NB I'd take the Goldwing.
>>29018545Definitely the Miata
>>29018545If Manlet --> miataIf not --> goldwingTheres a reason there's many goldwings with million miles and multi-national destination trips.
>>29018194>>29018240Ahh, more nobikes
>>29018240>>29018761>it's the dbt nobike schizogo back to the containment thread, I'm a hasbike and I LOVE power sliding my Sabre but it's nothing like a small bike, it's literally car with bike attributes. It might not be fast, expensive, or a GoldWing but I ride 8-10 hours a day, every day, I've been a courier for a while now and GoldWing has been my goal since forever and I'm almost there, I'm so close now.>>29018273F6C has been my goal, GL1500 is more attainable and I genuinely like carburetors more than injected but GL1800 F6C Valkyrie is my true goal, I'd accept the F6B but the F6C is like 150lbs lighter than the standard F6A GoldWing
>>29018781Have you considered K1600?
>>29018856BMW bikes are cool, they're like Euro Honda, they have so many different and iconic models like the Flying Brick similar to the K1600 you mention but every bike I've owned has been Honda and I wrench on my own bikes so all my tools and experience is working on Hondas. Moving onto a BMW would mean learning their nomenclature, knowing their parts numbers and supplier system, and even acquiring specific tools to work on them, I'm comfortable with Honda bikes because it's what I grew up on
I have a gl1800. comfy, rides great, fast.
I loathe plugging a youtuber, but as much as I also loathe his enthusiasm, dude can handle 2 wheels pretty well.https://youtu.be/QJG7SiPg9Ek?si=oxvNY4hrmdhXi03i
>>29018781Nice vtx, fag
