Auto shop manager here. I assure you that even an old clunker car is by far a much better investment than a brand new car. These new cars are becoming almost impossible for anyone to fix. I even had to pay one of my employees to get an associates degree in electrical engineering technology just to work on new bmw i3s. I literally had to retire early because I can't take this EV craze anymore. I swear to God sooner or later nobody will know how to fix cars anymore
