>>29024848>That head is so cool, but how do you breath/see out of it?i'm pretty sure that one is The Original, made by some guy on Instructables, and on top of just not being totally sealed, it has fans in there hidden by the hair (common on mascot suits actually) and the front plate is just shiny black but see-through from inside, like pantyhose worn over the head for a bank job, or one of those one-way mirrorsinterestingly that one predates 3d printing being cheap, so most of that was hand-cut and hand-fitted, i think he only ended up 3d printing fiddly bits but the main body of it is mostly eva foam like any other firm cosplay item

I like the art, I don't want all the drama and stuff that comes with it. Early cons were about that. Then as the internet got more accessible, younger people came into the fold, and it slowly morphed into the circus that it has been for a while now. Now the oldest artists of the fandom are dropping like flies over the last ten or so years as they fall to age/disease.
