Because of how Subarus are (were?) modular and the Forester being an Impreza underneath, you can pretty easily swap in a built EJ25 with a big turbo, fuel system upgrades, and STi 6-spd with 3 LSDs. I put twin turbos on my silverado recently, but the exterior is totally stock. It has open downpipes though right under the cab so it is kind of noisy. I didnt build it to be a sleeper i just dont care about exterior looks on a car

>>29023746I'll recommend the same thing I always do for a sleeper : Lincoln MKZ 3.0tt AWD. Stock it'll run a low 13/high 12, but I've seen ones with a tune and intercooler run 10s and 11s. There's definitely room for improvement with more fuel and better tires too. For a heavy comfy sedan, that no one would ever suspect, I'd say that's pretty good.
