what if you live in nog ville and getting in front of someone for any reason is treated as a slight. in that scenario, you either get over when you notice the lane closed up ahead or you risk the person you have to merge in front of being a nog and blocking you. it happens.

mathematically speaking, does that actually move a higher volume of cars through the bottleneck faster, or does it just make the line appear shorter but since the amount of cars stays the same the transit time does too?
