that's probably fine for 4-5 years, I don't know what the carbon is like but I'd double check it's not like the 4c where you have to hand torque every single chassis bolt every few years

I bought a fairly low mileage 2015 model last year and have been very satisfied with it. I've spent about $8k on repairs, which was what about what I expected when I bought it. Beware the AC compressor, I replaced mine before failure due to funny sounds after 3k miles; total failure may quite very expensive.

Note that you do not want to work on this yourself, and any competent repair shop will be aware of that. I have two local BMW dealers that I force to compete, which has saved me $1-2k if I ignore one of them wanting to needlessly replace my EME for $13k. If you're a captive customer, you may be cheated.
