Does anyone buy new cars with cash? Is everyone just used to debt maxing now?
>>29027102Yes. Most "real men" make at least 300-500K these days so buying an average 50K car is nothing. Even fakework gubmint gibs jobs for Black Queens™ pay 160-200K a year.If you cum 2 California you'll see even basic bitch jobs like being a handyman for a county building pays six figgaz. It's inflation, everything has tripled in the past 15 years. So making "300K" isn't even impressive anymore and doesn't really buy you a baller life. It just means you can afford to buy normal stuff like a car and some food.Hate me all you want, it's reality. Making less than 150K is poverty line living in modern AmeriKKKa®
>>29027102nevermind the car itself, insurance is beyond astronomical. it's like health insurance, and just like that, if you ever actually use it, they fuck you over, deny your claims, and just charge you more going forward. and if you ever get in an accident or your car just decides, it starts bleeding multi-thousand-dollar repair bills. Buying a car is like adopting an elderly dog. It's just not smart. Robot cars now. Robot cars 20 years ago, dammit.
>>29027130I am from Canada and I make the equivalent of 57K in USD. Funny thing is I am finding I am in better financial situation than my higher income debt maxing friends and family in my same age bracket. They are many hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt while my house is almost paid off because I still drive an old civic and didn't remortgage. Everyone around me who is my age is trying to make themselves look as successful as their boomer parents instead of being frugal. I think you guys are fucked even you real men who make 500k because youre all debt maxed.
>>29027102Most people just lease. Why would you buy anything new with cash? Especially a soulless commuting appliance... Do you really want to take 8 years to own a car with a turbocharged motorcycle engine, a clapped out CVT and a laggy infotainment system?
>>29027102Yes.
>buy new carscouldn't be me. I wouldn't buy any car made after 2011
>>29027102>Does anyone buy new cars with cash?I did. $2000 minivan just last month. The prior owners hated minivans and just wanted a truck, and the kids left for college, so they just dumped it at any price they could get for it. It got 5k oil changes and got maintained to the letter, right up until the final 5k where they stopped giving a fuck. That thing was mechanically pristine but thoroughly trashed inside. I'm pretty sure it's a portal to the stale food dimension because it keeps generating new Cheerios, goldfish, and fossilized McDonald's french fries no matter how much I clean it.The bumper cover was loose, so I punched some holes with a license plate screw and a scavenged screwdriver from a chinesium furniture set, and made new tabs with brass wire. It will probably last the lifetime of the car.It also finally convinced me to buy a drill after years of punching holes with self tapping screws.
>>29027478Well, new to me.
