How did Ford get so bad that they can't even make sun visors without turning them into a fire hazard?
>>
>>29027373
Jeet "engineers", Chinese parts, UAW assembly. A perfect storm, if you will.
>>
>>29027375
they're not wiring the sun visor by hand at the assembly plant so i don't think the UAW has anything to do with it.
>>
Mexican engineering
>>29027375
Bro said "UAW" instead of Mexican lmao
>>
>>29027373
Stupid people are responsible for this. Stupid people keep throwing money at that shit company, and thats how evil gets by in this world
>>
Why the fuck would a sun visor have wiring in it?
>>
>>29027408
Light so that you can apply makeup at night? uhh hello???

>>29027408

>illuminated sun visors
Damn, it has never felt any better to be poor when there is literally nothing to actually break.
>>
>>29027497
Dude.
How fucking poor are you? Illuminated visors have been standard since the 80s.
On a scale from Romanian Gypsy to Ugandan Dirt Farmer, where do you fit?
>>
>>29027408
my camry has a light in the headliner on either side where the visor sits in that turns on when the mirror cover on the visor is slid past a certain point, and the visor is lowered down past a certain point. it also turns off if you turn it to the side past a certain angle as well.
actually curious as to whether it's a set of sliding contacts for all three things or something else.

I only have $50k in retirement investments right now, so Ukranian refugee.

Every now and then the US is introduced to a global car with no features and it fucking fails. I happen to like those global cars a lot because they have no features.

Rangers are built in Michigan. My 2020 was actually the highest US parts content vehicle available that year too but sadly they offshored a shitload of stuff when covid fucked the supply chain.

>>29027757
Incidentally the Ranger itself is one of the most global vehicles sold in the US, even when they made almost everything here it was nearly all identical to the stuff designed in Australia and sold in the rest of the world, with the exception of the engine and front facia/bumper. Mine is a 300a so it's pretty barebones, including no sun visor lights, I do wish it had a leather wheel though.

The US says they want a cheap, affordable car, but they actually want a luxury car at used car prices, brand new. The laundry list of features that are implied in that car could fill tomes.
>I do wish it had a leather wheel though.
That's probably the one thing I would like to have as well, but that's what steering wheel covers, or even those weird leather wraps are for.

Must have been the parts made in third world shitholes like Mexico or Canada
