simcade, despite the presence of a spectrum of realism upon which any particular simulation software may lie, does not truly exist as a genre or term. it is typically used as a derogatory term to describe "bad" simulators that people don't like such as forza, which takes liberty with its perfectly adequate sim physics engine to make cars easier to drive for the typical xbox retard and packages it up in a shiny, accessible ui wrapper. forza is still a simulator. having arcade elements doesn't make a game not a simulator, but having any kind of simulation elements at all makes a game a simulator. the only other quantifier is "how arcade is it?".
