what do sois mean when they say you are "overdriving the car" on track, if you dont crash clearly you aren't. Is it just cope for them being cowards?
Maybe they mean that if you're sawing at the wheel you're losing time. But pretty much all track day bros are whole seconds off the pace they should be at even in the most advanced run group. You're better off being the guy who's slow because he's a bit sideways than slow because he's a chicken.
Crashes are a normal part of car ownership. If you're not at least replacing a body panel two or three times a year, preferably a bumper or a wheel sometimes too, you're not much of a driver, you aren't good at driving, and you will not improve as a driver.
