Is it a good sign to find your twin car? The only difference is I replaced my tires cuz they were kinda shit on rough roads.
>>
Begone, shill.
>>
I think my twin is a bit more conservative.

but most people don't opt for the xpro, let alone the prestige trim
xlines are everywhere
base model tucsons - ditto
my seats are ventilated
>>
>>29035280
I've seen maybe 3 or 4 of my car since I got it and none of them the same color.
>>
the tire letter paint is cute

I had a Jetta and it was baltic green which was blue-green it was such a pretty color, rare to see them, esp now (it was an early 2000s car)

I didn't have the VR6 sadly, just the 1.8T but at least not the base 2.0 engine which was a dog
I wish you could get the Kia in a more metallic brighter green instead of what is effectively just gray with a bit of yellow-y green in it
like closer to jaguar racing green but shinier, or I think alfa romeo makes a nice green, saw a tonale in green
and there's a nice blue I think like teal maybe that the camry comes in
and the blue on the pacifica minivan is nice but the headlights are NOT self-leveling and are fucking blinding as they bounce over bumps in the road...
>>
>>29035164
No it's bad luck, when you meet your doppelganger, one of you will die
>>
>>29035296
I have a doppelganger in my town, I regularly think about killing him even though I've never met him
>>
>>29035294

You may be the most boring person on /o/.
>>

I had to emergency brake today like 70 to 0 on a steep downhill. I do wish the Sportage had fancier calipers cuz I have experienced fade but only driving through steep mountains. There was this dude camping in the left lane at the speed limit attracting a long line of cars in the right lane, I was trying to get around him and some guy in a trugg had gone too fast and a whole pallet of crap fell off and was blocking the lane, no police or anything on scene yet, just had to come to a complete stop then go around
fuck you silver toyota camry stay out of the left lane you know what you're doing

>you can't enjoy pretty colors
>you have to talk about wrenching and MANLY stuff
>>
>>29035294
I had a Mk4 Golf with the 2.0L in pearl blue
Slow as hell, always had a check engine light except for the week I needed an emissions test
Great little car

the 1.8T was super laggy but very fast at the top end the turbo was really fun, the 2.0T was somehow much worse and less fun

you could only get the stability control with the 1.8T engine upgrade, so my parents got that for safety - and its weird cuz it went off a lot like when you launched it hard, in the rain, snow, etc.
maybe the tires were worn I was driving it after my older sister, but now I have an AWD suv and I never ever feel the traction or stability control at all and the antilock braking has only gone off maybe twice in heavy rain

Cool car
>>
>>29035339
thanks
I visited my family who I hadn't seen in years and they seemed suitably impressed by the car and my mtn bike too
my uncle has a slightly older kia sedan
he was like "it's a good company, eh"
>>
>>29035351
whats with the seat
>>
>>29035353
you mean the comfy seat on the mtn bike?
the guy at the bike store said his gf uses it and likes it
the seat i had before was too narrow and uncomfy
>>
>>29035373
It's a beach cruiser seat. It would get in the way during mountain bike stuff.
Bicycle seats are supposed to support your ass bones not your entire ass.
>>
>>29035375
I'm not doing any singletrack, it's just for fire roads and rail trails
if it doesn't work, ill swap it out, no big deal
but in the past I rode rental bikes with padded shorts
and like if I rode a couple days in a row my butt would get REALLY sore
>>
yes
>>
>>29035164
I bet that other car is a white woman in her 30s who uses it for family transportation. Why did you buy a family car if you never use the back seats?
>>
This retarded subhuman needs to be banned

eww kia
>>
>>29036269
What's wrong with Kias?

>>29036240
my cooler lives in one seat and my day bag lives in the other
I take road trips.
>>
>>29036288
korean cars are not good, easily stolen and i simply hate suvs too they are too big and dangerous.
>>
>>29036291
>easily stolen
this only applies to the ones with twist keys not push button start and no immobilizer, not anything recent
>i simply hate suvs too they are too big and dangerous.
the handling certainly blows, I drove sedans and wagons before, but its safe and neutral and its fine on the highway just the usual numb eps steering
but the SUV angle is way better for rough roads and lil creek crossings and I do a lot of that, and it holds my stuff for longer road trips
its actually pretty tiny next to an f-150
and much lower
>>
I prefer my Japanese cars but I could be convinced to drive a KIA.
>>
>>29036294
i like driving lower vehicles like coupes or roadster types it feels faster even when u arent going that fast
>>
>>29036300
not everything is about pleasure hedonist
kia is practical and eats comfy highway miles and drives with hands in ur lap on the highway
>>
>>29036316
bleh u dont enjoy driving then u want to be the passenger
>>
>>29036348
I wish I had a chauffeur!
Driving is about the destination. Some of it's scenic, but driving 6 hours a day for 2 weeks straight isn't easy. I had 2 rest days on a 12 day trip and most other days were 4+ hrs driving. One day was maybe 3 hrs driving that was supposed to be a rest day tho.

Ur probably not driving for hours and hours or going very far.
>>
>>29036363
nope i fly around my city sometimes at night speeding everywhere because its fun all of my needs are within 3 miles of my house anything else is just for the enjoyment.
>>
The last few accidents I saw my same car was involed. I am afraid.
>>
>>29036376
Kias are for long distance needs. A grand touring car for those of modest means and exquisite taste.
