Sells for 40-50k in Australia. Somehow its slightly longer and wider than the Kia Carnival, which is also sold in Australia. I thought the point of these Asian minivans is they are smaller than American ones. Comes with a hybrid 4, v6, or diesel 4. The interior seems a bit outdated, esp. compared to Carnival, which is clearly a bit newer of a design. Would it sell in America?
hadn't realized soccer mom browsed o
>>29035230a lot of people enjoy practical, comfortable, spacious vehicles
>>29035235driving a bus around is not practical at all, unless soccer milfpost freckled wrinkly cleavage for daddy
>>29035197>Sells for 40-50k in Australia.Damn, that's expensive. The previous models were nice, and I believe less costly. The H-1 and Starex sold quite a bit in LATAM, turbo diesel being the choiceDecent power before it got nerfed
>>29035197The Kia carnival is a minivan / people mover in name only. It's a crossover SUV with sliding doors. It's absolutely useless if you have more than two kids. And it was supposed to be sold in America as a badge engineered Chevrolet.
>>29035289It's quite literally an xxl wheelbase Kia Sportage. I am the first to say Kia should build wider/longer vehicles. >It's absolutely useless if you have more than two kids.eh it has third row latch pointsamish and orthodox jews make do with minivans (orthodox jews ONLY buy Honda minivans, amish tend to get dodge/chrysler ones)I've seen 8-10 people spill out of a minivan before, the little ones share a seat or sit on a lap you do not get how crazed natalists areIf they sold a Kia Carnival XL with a v6 hybrid that could actually seat 6 and hold cargo would you buy it?honda is gonna beat kia to the punch by offering a v6 hybrid for the pilot/ridgeline/passport triplets
>>29035197Begone shill.
>>29035197I'm in Oz and have seen them around. I like the styling with the front light bar. Looks modern and nice.
>>29035197>>29035411*Vandwellers version
>>29035411>>29035419cops use them, they all look like space eggs
>>29035197Minivans sell like shit in America. They're insanely overpriced for what you get and that's comparing them to the already insanely overpriced van market in America. The Mertis came and failed hard. The Transit Connect came and failed hard. If people want a van they'll go for a van-van like an Express or a Transit. If they don't want a van they can go for the plethora of giant SUV's available. There is no market for something like this. An Express passenger spec may be ~50k for a technically 20 year old van but at least you get a 400hp V8.
>>29035291Do me a favor.Have three kids.Learn what it takes to schlep three kids -and three kids' related parafernalia- around. Then get back at me.Or else, shush.
>>29035471I said it isn't big enough...but plenty of people with 3 kids do use minivans
>>29035431I've seen these being tested to have speed detection while they are driving around mobile speed camera takes on a new meaning
>>29035197The only people buying hundais here is stupid people, niggers and those otherwise mentally challenged like olds and browns
I just realized that Hyundai sounds like Honda to English speakers since they can't differentiate between Japanese and Korean. To them, it all sounds Chinese anyway. The Hyundai logo even looks like the "H" of Honda.
>>29035872im glad I have a kia - it sounds less ethnic than "hyundai"
>>29035872We pronounce the Y so no it doesn't
>>29035653It's. Mot. A. Minivan It's a squatty crossover with teeny tiny seats
>>29035471I was one of 3 kids. Pic related was our family car until I went off to college. All 5 of us fit in it just fine and took multiple 500+ mile roadtrips in it every single year with all our camping gear in the trunk. If you cannot fit 3 kids in that hulking minivan you should re-evaluate what you're doing wrong.
>>29035419They're much cheaper than the regular Hiace rapevan and seem to be a genuine 1-tonner for load capacity with a bit more room in the back if you need it.I don't like the look but I guess that doesn't matter too much as I've not liked how most Hyundais looked over the years but they seem to hold together ok over the years, think the resale is slightly worse as well. But that just means if you're in the market for a 2nd hand one you can it cheaper
>>29035673>speed detection while they are driving aroundjesus christ
>>29035230australia is still white so you see their white taste in cars every once and awhile on 4chan
>>2903666325% of aussie cars sold are now made in chinaI actually like reading the aussie car mag (tho its sorta semi dead and publishes irregularly) because you can get Chinese car reviews in English - not that any are that exciting or innovative but it's sort of interesting reading about clone cars.
>>29035443Toyota sienna has months long wait lists
>>29035197For 50k dollarydoos you could buy pic related in Australia with under 80,000km
>>29036671I barely see those in America. I see a lot more Kia Carnivals. It's a much newer car. And probably Chrysler Pacificas the most. And Honda Odyssey #3. Sienna is like the 4th most common minivan here. It's not that special. It's a toaster, an industrial design. Also, I read that a lot of Toyotas have waiting lists in Aussieland, even like a Rav4 just cuz they are weird about allocation I guess. I know in the US I think the Rav4 plug in hybrid variant has been hard to get.
>>29036678Hold up, you paid FIFTY-THOUSAND dollars for that shit? When you live a few hours from Japan? Hoooooly fucking retard.
>>29036684I paid $46,000 for my mustang at 62,000km then I spent nearly half that modifying it your point?I should have spent double the money on a skyline?
>>29036678I don't dislike them too much, but 50k gets you a lot of car in the JP Grey Market imports as >>29036684 said, unless you absolutely need a Ford in your life. I've had Fords in my life and quite over them.
>>29036688mustang is a rental car broyou bought a rental car with a pickup truck engine in it
