Has anyone tried steelies on post 2015 BMWs? Driving cars in swedish winter is apparently rim abuse as we have salt+gavel on the roads.I don't wanna deal with sanding and re-painting these 1-2 years, someone suggested steelies and there's these rather cheap Alcar 9863 marked for e84 that are almost the same measurements the stock wheels on my 318d GT. Only difference is that they're 7.5- instead of 8 inch. Would there be any noticeable difference? All I can find is "steelies weights more" these are listed to weight 10.4kg per rim. The original alloy wheels that came with the car are 12kg per rim.
why not just get some cheap alloys from a breaker
