>>29038494The center console on almost all cars is asymmetric, slightly biased to the passenger's side to optimize driver footwell space and cover the floor bulge on the right side created by transmission cases. The center stack is usually also biased towards the passenger's side by 10-20mm to provide wheel clearance or more space for a start/stop button. You would have to basically look at a CAD model of the car to notice this, in person you never see it from the right angle.You haven't experienced truly nightmarish asymmetry until you've sat in a Countach LP400 though, the entire driver's station including the steering wheel and pedals is offset from the x-axis of the car by at least like 10° and it is definitely not hard to notice.
