Is it sway bar bushings that makes it feel like my car is about to collapse?
>>29041037I recommend lowering and stiffening the suspension.
As sway bar bushings are the only components applicable to handling - yes.

>>29041037Nope, or it's highly unlikely anyways. Sway bars (in summary) control weight transfer of the vehicle during cornering. So if it only feels like it's breaking during cornering, than that may be the problem. Much more likely is dead shocks, worn ball joints, or a broken/lost spring. Depending on how old the car is, the frame could also be thoroughly rusted through, in which case it acts is about to collapse.
>>29041044My gay friend (mechanic) already confirmed its the sway bar bushings. It's a 'thump-thump' sound
