Lotus is keeping the dream alive. The Emira is incredible and still being made with a stick. The Evora is extremely underrated and undervalued. I picked up an Evora S in March and It’s basically a faster, more modern gen 1 NSX for half the price.

I don't think it goes anywhere.I went to a local Miata meet for the first time in like 10 years and I was just amazed at all the weirdos. Truth be told it makes me want to sell my car instead of being associated with them. Car culture is a strange bird now.

>>29041770That’s not the engine in the Evora. It has the 2GR-FE not the 2GR-FKS. There are significant differences between the two. The FE is transverse mounted and the FKS is longitudinal for one. The FE also isn’t direct injected like the FKS so it doesn’t have carbon buildup problems. As a Toyota tech, the only problems I ever saw with the 2GR-FE was occasional minor oil seepage from the timing cover and some water pump failures on cars with over 100k miles. They really are bulletproof.
