Considering options for an autumn Saturday series. BYO[insert car here] seems to have run its course on everyone, but it's been a while since we've had a wheelspin series with a bunch of odd cars. What's some packs we haven't tried that could be a candidate here? Alternatively some well balanced packs that could work for picking a car. I shall not and will not host non-VR native compatible games with the exception maybe of BeamNG as it filters out a few people here and as well demonstrated going back to rF1 or AMS has negative effect on participation, not positive because it's not twenty fuckin' fourteen. They obviously need the money considering we haven't had a stable 24 hour race yet. If they ever plan in beating irenting, they need reliable servers for special events. But if it's a 128 tick nonstop packets back and forth with 43 other clients and for 2.4 hours. Yes it could be really taxing for one server node. These modern AWS servers have sophisticated resource allocation. I don't think all the splits run on same nodes. But I saw some turd worlder play with shit fps and i could not help thinking are people with shit computers causing the server to stall. Some compensation code going crazy trying to keep the falling back clock in time causing performance loss for everybody. But given the fact these are all Assetto Corsa mods made by turks and children, don't expect them to drive the way you think. They're curated for lap time (and not being total dogshit to drive) for their class and not really with any other goals in mind.Anyway the most cars in a pack is 5 and the servers hold 30 cars mostly, so being cucked out of it by 6 others seems a little unlucky and unlikely

If you wanna see what it was like to drive a real 80s f1 car you might need 25-30 nm, sure, but is it going to "make" you go faster? hell no. if anything it will just wear you out and you won't be able to go fast for more than a few laps without irl endurance training.what wheel you use or ffb settings you have dont influence anything about your laptimes. what they do is give you more physical information to use to drive the car than what a screen and speakers can provide, helping you make smarter decisions when racing. that is ultimately what makes you faster.sure you can buy a 999gorillion nm direct drive dildo and have it smack you in the nuts with one of those faggy formula yokes at light speed to simulate the precise force Ayrton Senna felt in his ballsack at Monaco but why. Is that really going to make you faster? No. Buy a t300 and get good. Stop trying to mail order skill.
