I had to come back the next day for an out of state registration due to tech foibles and/or California being particular about something. The desk I was at was having trouble with the papers, but the guy who had processed my stuff yesterday called me over and I was out the door five minutes after that. i should have thrown him a 10 for a beer or something, he sees probably hundreds of people every day but remembered me and went the extra mile for what could have been a huge headache to solve on my own.
>>29050888In my state you can transfer the registration online provided the car is certified as roadworthy but a) it never is and b) even if it is, the boomer I'm buying it off is always too retarded to figure out how to do it so I have to go in and do the humiliation ritual. ffs just do the online transfer it take like 2 minutes if you have an above room temperature IQ. Here in Leafland even with the Jeets and Asians registering their $100k Tesla's when they can't speak english you're usually out of there in under 10 minutes. As long as you don't wait until the end of the month like the rest of the morons it's pretty painless. I don't know what your problem is when you probably have more DMV's per people than we got.

Nevada actually has cool kiosks in the DMV for registration renewal that are like ATMs. You type in your information or just scan your renewal notice and if everything is in order it prints out your sticker right there in less than a minute. In the state im in now ive never waited in "line" for more than 5 minutes. The office is usually empty and it take longer to wait on the printer than anything else (I have 6 vehicles).
