>Be Yamaha>Have an inline 4 crossplane Motogp bike since 2004>Your best selling sports bike has the same engine layout, which is a massive marketing win>The Yamaha M1 is the best bike most Motogp seasons>by 2023, you have issues with putting down power because, unrelated to engine architecture>Quartararo still Gets 5 Pole positions in 2025, has a clear one lap speed advantage on any flowing circuit because of the longer crankshaft, would have won Silverstone if he hadn't fell>Instead of fixing the grip problem, you switch to a v4 layout for no reason>the underlying problems persist but now you've lost all your strongsuits>you are totally uncompetitive now>not even Quartararo and Toprak get out of Q2 most weekends>2027 has lower displacement engines at same rpm limit, which means riders' adapted lines will make the corner speeds more important, which an inline 4 would have thrived in, but now you will suck even in that period
Yamaha: The company made by retards, for retards. Always has been and always will be.>Most recalled motorcycle manufacturer in history, somehow beating harley Davidson. They made the R1 and literally nobody authentically cares about anything else they've ever done.
>>29050927>motogpkys fucking million dollar race bike lmao retard, wrenchlet
v4s prolly have better aero
>>29050947A recall is a manufacturer owning up to a mistake and should be considered a point of good character, assuming they caught it early and weren't forced to issue one. >>29050927If it means we get a V4 R1 and MT10 that's fine by me.
>>29050947They pioneered the 4 stroke competitive motocross bike, popularized 5v heads for a while, the reverse flow dirtbike head is arguably superior albeit by only a thin margin, the R6 was the most competitive 600, the Vmax is the OG japanese muscle bike, the FZ-1 gen 1 is probably the greatest UJM ever made, I could go on.
>>29050947You can't ride
>>29050964>prollymotorcycles are inherently less aerodynamic than a door. from the front, they are a rotund bleb with a long, thin tire sticking out
>>29050947>They made the R1 and literally nobody authentically cares about anything else they've ever done.I like Fazer and Vmax though
>>29050947>They made the R1 and literally nobody authentically cares about anything else they've ever done.Time to play Bait or Retard
>>29050927>The Yamaha M1 is the best bike most Motogp seasonsits not 2015 and its not being ridden by Lorenzo and Rossi anymore, get with the times
A recall is an indication of a shitty product pushed too fast past RND. It's not a sign of good character when you get caught and forced to own up you dumb bitch ass sucka'Guess I struck a nerve.. yamavirgins how will you cope?
>>29051109i said most years since 2004. and the best as late as 2021, occasional fastest one lap pace as late as 2025. The factors skewing the power dynamic towards v4 bikes since 2021 were the ride height devices, too many retarded stop and go circuits on the callendar, and the aerodynamics. in 2027, a lot of this will be reverted, and an inline 4 crossplane will have done wery well
>>29050927NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR POWER RANGER BULLSHIT. FUCK OFF BACK TO YOUR CONTAINMENT THREAD /DBT/. BETTER OFF YET, FUCK OFF TO /N/ WHERE YOU BELONG IN THE FIRST PLACE.
>>29051683Are you confusing gimp suits with lycrafags?
>>29050927V4 is the right way to go, Yams problem is that they should have switched to it 20 years ago, now they are that much further behind, I agree that its chassis is the problem and needs sorting but at least they have the right configuration of engine to sort it out around.
They were going to just try out the V4 and the decision to switch ended up being made way early because they saw what the gay 2027 rules are and realized an I4 was going to be worthless. MotoGP is now like car racing where all chassis and engine dynamics are subservient to aerodynamic packaging within the arbitrary box they've been given.
>>29050947>make the best dual sport in history>all it needs is a mild power bump and standard improvements>fumble>now the Chinese market had stolen the market segment and proven how lucrative it isI'll never forgive them for not making a WR350R with ~35HP
>>29050927>Your best selling sports bikeWas, then 2008 happened. Pic related. KTM didn't adapt and look at what happened to them. Ducati sold themselves off. Yamaha was one of the few that look a hatchet to their line up to save the company.>switch to a v4 layout for no reasonNot because Ducati was doing better in and out of corners?>2027What makes you think they are going to run the V4? Even if they did how do you know it wont preform? How do you know the V4 isn't already 850cc? Maybe they said fuck it and tried something new to test random shit till 2027.
On paper, the V4 has better traction and frees up more frontal area to play with in the aero box. On the other hand, Suzuki still had a legitimately competitive bike when they left motogp just a couple years ago. Also Ducati comfortably had the best bike from 2017 to the end of 2025, and I know you're trolling to argue otherwise.Yamaha is doing something wrong, but I don't think any of the fans are going to figure it out from a distance. Also when is somebody going to really hit the cocaine and decide to put the mechanism for an impact gun into the rear hub of a motorcycle and run it with a screamer? Big Bang engines could never
